Maintenance Massage

This is the most efficient way to keep a check on what is happening within your body; assessing muscle tone, joint range of motion and addressing any niggles that could build into something bigger. Stretches and exercises that may be of benefit are discussed, along with a practical test to ensure they are best suited for you. The time frame for a maintenance massage will vary from person to person, typically every 4-6 weeks is recommended.

Remedial Massage

Whether you are wanting a relaxation massage or a massage to reduce pain, thus allowing the body to return to neutral.  Remedial Massage is beneficial in treating both superficial and deep muscles; utilising a wide range of techniques, allowing for manipulation of soft tissue.

Event Massage

Pre-event massages aim to increase blood circulation, improve flexibility and reduce stress levels. Ultimately preparing the body both physically and mentally for exercise, enhancing performance. Ideally 3-4 days before a big event, would be the most beneficial practise.

Post-event massage helps clear metabolic build up after intense exercise.  This increases venous return and lymphatic circulation, facilitating tissue recovery. Can be performed anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 days after intense exercise.
